New EVcharge APP arrives to improve the charging experience

With over 10,000 charging points integrated globally, EVcharge has established itself as an essential tool for electric vehicle drivers. Continuously focused on evolving and improving the user experience, today we are pleased to announce the official launch of the new version of the EVcharge app, leaving the beta phase behind.

Farewell to EVcharge 2023

The previous version, which will now be called EVcharge 2023, will no longer receive updates. Therefore, we recommend all our users migrate to the new version to enjoy the improvements and new functionalities that we have implemented.

New features in the new version of EVcharge app to improve user experience

Our dedication to innovation and user convenience is reflected in the significant improvements in this update. New features include:

• Total restructuring of the app : Optimisation for greater speed and ease of use.
• New visual interface: Modern and accessible design, significantly improving the user experience.
• New interactive map: Find charging points with ease, reflecting our extensive global network.
• Route finder: Travel worry-free, with charging stations always on your way. Indicate where you are leaving from and where you want to go, and the app will suggest chargers based on the current state of the vehicle’s battery and the planned route.
• Notification list: Stay informed about important updates. Includes push notifications on charging status and availability alerts. Users can subscribe to alerts to know when a charger is free and receive notifications from other users waiting to charge.
• Simplified charging process: Charge your vehicle quickly and easily. The automatic charging option allows you to set up a charging card, default vehicle, default power and default connector, reducing the setup time to just two clicks.
• Active charging interface: Detailed, real-time information during the charging process.
• Dark mode: A visually appealing and eye-friendly option.
• Chatbot: Immediate assistance to solve your queries, currently in beta and continuously learning from user interactions to become an intelligent chatbot. This chatbot can perform real-time checks, such as checking if someone is charging, or even resetting the charger if necessary.
• Incident space: Includes a call button for customers with contracted telecare and access to the chatbot to resolve issues quickly.
• Save the charger: Now more visible for easier use.
• Selection of energy supplied: Users can select the energy supplied and the app will calculate an approximate charging time according to the power of the charger.
• New filters: Available for services associated with the charging point (restaurant, supermarket, shop, WI-FI), and to see available chargers in real time, free or paid. Only the filtered chargers will appear on the map or list.
• Improved search engine: Search by location, as in Google Maps, or by charger name.
• Help always available: With a call button that appears only when we are at a charger with a contracted 24/7 telecare service.
• Scan QR: For chargers with QR, it allows you to scan the QR code to display the charger directly in the app . It also includes the NFC function.
• List of active and completed charges.
• Reserve charger: For compatible and authorised chargers, with the option to reserve at an associated cost.
• Company profile: Allows you to mark the company option and include the CIF number to receive invoices per load or monthly. You can also download tickets or convert the loads made into invoices.
