26,000+ chargers managed

If you install or operate charging points, you know the job doesn’t end once the charger is connected. You then need to know who is charging, how much energy is being used, how to bill for charging and how to avoid exceeding the contracted power when several vehicles charge at the same time. From 24 to 26 November, at MATELEC and GENERA, EVcharge will show how to solve all of this from a single platform.

The International Electrification and Decarbonisation Week brings together the electrical industry, energy efficiency and sustainable mobility at IFEMA Madrid. You will find us at stand 8E34 and 8E36 in Hall 8, within the MATELEC area and together with AEDIVE.

EVcharge returns to the event after taking part in the 2025 edition as a technology partner for installers and charging point operators, with a platform that already manages more than 26,000 chargers.

How can you manage chargers from different brands in a single system?

The EVcharge platform works with chargers of any brand thanks to OCPP, the open protocol that lets a charger and a software system communicate. For installers, it means freedom: you choose the equipment that best fits each project and manage everything from the same place. For operators, a single view of the entire network. And for the end customer, a complete installation: the charging point and the software to manage it.

One platform, five areas:

1

Operations management

Remote monitoring of charging points, users and access, incidents and maintenance. Being cloud-based, it lets you detect problems before travelling to the site.

2

Operations analytics

Network statistics to track its performance over time.

3

Pricing and billing

Tariff configuration, including Smart Pricing dynamic tariffs, and payment control.

4

Energy control

Distribution of available power and consumption optimisation, with Energy Manager.

5

User app

Access and management of charging from your mobile phone.

Payment without registration: the EVcharge Totem and AFIR

The European AFIR regulation sets out that, at publicly accessible charging points, it must be possible to charge on a one-off basis, without a prior contract or an app. The EVcharge Payment Totem meets that need: it is a centralised payment terminal that lets users pay for charging by card without being registered in any app, and it is compatible with chargers of any brand. It is a solution designed for public or shared charging points, where anyone should be able to charge without hassle.

For charging points of 50 kW or more that are already installed, the regulation sets 1 January 2027 as the date by which card or contactless payment must be offered. A centralised terminal makes on-site payments easier and allows any infrastructure to be adapted quickly to these requirements. We cover the regulation in more detail in our article on AFIR.

Energy and pricing: more control and more profitability

One of the most common problems in an installation is exceeding the contracted power when several vehicles charge at the same time. EVcharge Energy Manager optimises the energy consumption of charging points and of the buildings where they are installed, distributing the available power among the chargers. In many cases, this avoids the need to increase the contracted power and reduces project costs.

For those who charge for energy, EVcharge Smart Pricing lets you define dynamic tariffs based on the cost of energy and each operator’s own criteria, without having to change prices manually. A solution recognised with multiple awards by AEDIVE, Empresas por la Movilidad Sostenible and The Smarter E.

More open, interoperable charging

At EVcharge, we are committed to accessible and interoperable electric mobility, where operators, businesses and public administrations can deploy and manage charging networks without technological barriers. MATELEC and GENERA are an opportunity to share this vision with the industry.
