From Spain to America, Africa, and Europe: this is how we bring our white-label software to CPOs around the world

At EVcharge, we are accelerating our international expansion with a value proposition focused on flexibility, scalability, and regulatory compliance. As a Spanish technology company specialized in electromobility, we are now consolidating our global presence by bringing our solution to new markets—backed by over a decade of experience.

Our white-label platform is already present on three continents

Currently, our white-label solution is operating in France, the United Kingdom, Romania, Colombia, Chile, Mexico, Panama, the United States, Cape Verde, and Réunion Island.

This deployment showcases our ability to adapt to different regulatory environments and local needs.

But how do we earn the trust of charge point operators (CPOs)?

The answer lies in our platform: it allows them to manage their entire infrastructure from a single system, precisely adapted to the current regulations of each country. Our technology is designed to scale without regulatory friction, thanks to a highly specialized development team.

“We have a development team that enables us to perfectly adapt to the reality of each country,” highlights Juanma Pérez Thompson, Business Unit Manager at EVcharge.

Born from experience: technology tat understands operations

EVcharge is the technology division of Etecnic, a company founded in 2015 and specialized in the development and installation of charging infrastructure in Spain. Thanks to this background, we understand electric mobility from its operational foundation: the physical installation of chargers, their commissioning, and the day-to-day management of their operation.

This journey allowed us to create a robust, functional platform designed around the real needs of the sector. Over the years, we have integrated the most widely used protocols and connectors, enabling us to offer full interoperability—even in highly diverse regions such as Latin America.

“Throughout all this time, we’ve seen every protocol and connector come and go; we’ve had to constantly adapt,” adds Pérez Thompson, in a conversation with Mobility Portal Europe during our participation in Power2Drive.

Smart Pricing and Real-World Experience: Our Advantages over traditional software

One of our most in-demand developments is the Smart Pricing module, which allows CPOs to adjust rates in real time based on factors such as energy availability, photovoltaic production, battery status, or demand.

During our participation in industry trade fairs, we have demonstrated how this functionality already enables the integration of renewable energy sources, batteries, and grid logic to optimize pricing behavior and attract more users.

Unlike fully digital developers, at EVcharge we combine software with strong operational expertise. Coming from Etecnic, we understand firsthand the challenges and priorities of those who manage charging points. Our platform was designed precisely to address those needs.

In addition, we offer maintenance modules, operational reporting, and digital marketing functionalities—tools that help retain users and increase traffic at charging stations.

Smart Hardware for more efficient and secure charging stations

In compliance with the AFIR Regulation, in effect since April 2024, we have developed a centralized payment totem that ensures accessibility and supports payment methods without requiring prior registration.

This device allows for the management of multiple chargers from a single point, eliminating the need to install individual terminals, reducing CAPEX, and optimizing OPEX.

“With a solution like this, not only are costs reduced, but the user experience is significantly improved—offering a simple process similar to that of a traditional gas station”, explains Pérez Thompson.

We have also designed a cable alarm system aimed at preventing theft at public charging stations—an issue that is increasingly common in urban areas or locations with limited surveillance.

International scalability and strategic vision

In addition to the countries where we are already present, we are advancing new partnerships with CPOs in France, England, and Romania, and we are carrying out projects in Canada and Madagascar related to large electric fleets with battery storage systems.

“We are expanding in North America, Eastern Europe, and new cities across the continent,” notes our Business Unit Manager.

Our active participation in events like Power2Drive Europe allows us to showcase a comprehensive ecosystem that combines software as a service (SaaS), mobile applications, smart hardware, and advanced energy logic.

With a value proposition that integrates interoperability, energy efficiency, and regulatory compliance, at EVcharge we position ourselves as a strategic partner to accelerate electromobility in both emerging and established markets.
