Luis Miguel<\/strong>: I found out about it through a Telegram group called ”todos el\u00e9ctricos<\/a>” and I thought it was great, I signed up straight away. I’m in the process of getting an electric vehicle and the prize of winning a charger for my home was perfect for me. I saw the rules were very simple, you asked for a decent photo, one point per charger… very feasible and possible.<\/p>\n Gerard<\/strong>: I saw the competition in one of the emails you send out, I don’t remember if it was in the monthly newsletter or the weekly electric moment<\/a>, but it seemed very attractive and easy to participate. Anything that encourages other people to go electric seems to me to be very good.<\/p>\n And there are two factors in this competition that make everything very easy:Participants of #Cargatufoto contest<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n<\/div>\n \ud83d\udd0b\u200b<\/b> 1. Chargers are everywhere<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n It is very easy to find a charger wherever you go, Etecnic manages many charging stations, it is very easy to participate as you go.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n The App’s map (also available on the Etecnic website<\/a>) is the indispensable ally for this competition, consulting the location of the recharging points is the key factor to see if there is a nearby charger, move to it, take a photograph and send it to marketing@etecnic.es<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/p>\n Luis Miguel<\/strong>: the ones I find the most are the slow chargers with Schuko switches and the ones I think are scarce are the large fast chargers from 55 kW.<\/p>\n Gerard<\/strong>: I have mostly found 22 kW slow chargers with two 11 kW sockets, the typical white Etecnic tower. I think there is a lack of ultra-fast charging points because when you need them they go very well and there are not so many, in cases of need in half an hour you can charge 200 km.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Luis Miguel<\/strong>: It’s a world that has my full attention, electric vehicles are much more efficient than vehicles with internal combustion engines. This means that less energy is needed to move the vehicle, which translates into economic savings while reducing my carbon footprint. I try to be always informed about the latest news in the sector, I read your news, I follow a lot of people on Youtube…<\/p>\n Gerard<\/strong>: my relationship with electric mobility is mainly through Etecnic because they are the chargers I use the most. Things I like: if the charger is busy and I am interested, they notify me by email when it is free, in the map area I always find a charger nearby and I can check its availability and, in addition, when the car is 80% charged and it is about to end, they send you a warning via the App, which is great. It has many features and I find them all useful, but what I like most is that a charger is quick to connect.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Luis Miguel<\/strong>: I have noticed in many forums and in many videos that people take advantage of charging stations, they park with the excuse that they are charging, but in reality the charging time is over and they don’t remove the car, they leave it parked there. We need to find a solution to this. Being able to warn the person who is parked through the EVcharge App is a start to solving this problem, it makes them realise that there is someone waiting and that it could also happen to them, it should raise awareness for sure.<\/p>\n Gerard<\/strong>: I have rarely had problems and if I have had them they have been due to communication errors, but as I also have the key fob, I never have any problems with it.<\/p>\n The main drawback is the users who leave the car as if it were charging when it has been charging for hours and it occupies the space unnecessarily, leaving others who need it without charging.<\/p>\n Another drawback is the amount of Apps needed. In the end, I always move around the same area and I already know which Apps I will need, but a salesperson or a person who moves around a lot is constantly faced with the difficulty of having to install many Apps, each one for a different charger. The day that with a single app you can use all the chargers will be a big step forward, or even better, without Apps and paying on the spot, like at petrol stations, with your credit card.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
